We often get asked the same question’s and where always happy to answer any question’s you have, but thought we would outline the most popular below.


1. Do you have a portfolio I can review? Are all of the images yours?

We have many photo's on our website, you can view many more on our online gallery here https://craftylove.pixieset.com/sampleweddingphotos/ Upon request we are more than happy to show you full weddings.


2. How much of a deposit do you require and when is it due?

Our deposits vary depending on the package you want to book, our deposits range from £50 to £125 but we always discuss this with you and no payment is required until you have a copy of our contract. We also offer payment plans if this helps please discus on your enquiry as we are happy to amend a contract to suit.


3. Will I receive a written contract?

You will always receive two copies of our contract before you make any payments to us at all, one for you to keep and one to be signed and returned to us in pre paid envelope.


4. Have you ever photographed at my venue?

We have photographed at many venue's and if we have we can show you previous work. If not don't worry we always have a good look round, Deciding on the best photo opportunities or backgrounds to use prior to your wedding.


5. If my wedding venue is out of your area, do you charge a travel fee?

We dont charge any travel fees on our Silver & Gold packages, our registry office package has minimal charges if over 50 miles from Castleford.


6. Are you photographing other events on the same day as mine?

We never take more than one booking per day  so you will have our full attention on your big day and we wont be rushing off elsewhere.


7. Is a second shooter available?

We are a husband & wife team so always work as two meaning you will get two professional photographers, during ceremony if permitted by the registrar you will get one of us at the front and one at the back capturing both sides throughout the vows.  Also upon request we can catch both of you getting ready, where possible.


8. Do you have liability insurance?

Absolutely yes we are professionally insured and happy to provide proof upon request.


9. How many hours are included in your package?

Our packages don't really have set times, if you book full day from bridal prep to end of first dances then that's what you get. However our contracts do state first dance to take place no later than 9pm. But don't worry if things run a little late we will still be there to catch the action. If you are planning things to run later from the outset please discuss with us.


10. How will I receive my images?

All our wedding images are first sent to you to view on an online password protected gallery for you to view, on this gallery they will be watermarked and in low resolution. Every wedding will then receive all edited images in both colour & black & white on a USB which will be posted out to you. If your package includes a print, the USB will be sent at the same time.


11. Is an album included?

Albums & Photo Books are usually included in our Silver & Gold package's. Please see our wedding package page for full details. Your contract will also state what albums or photo books are included. If you wish to add a Photo Book or Album or extra’s to any package you can.


12. How long after the wedding will it take till I see my photos?

Your images are usually ready for you to view online in around a week, our contracts though do say Up-to three weeks which is to cover us in busy seasons, but rarely have we been much over a week.


13. Do you have backup equipment?

Yes we always carry backup camera's,  spare batteries, lenses memory cards etc. everything we need to cover any issue.


14. Can I request certain images to be taken?

Certainly, we always contact you about a month before your wedding and ask if there are any must have photos you would like taking. We always take the standard ones like big group shots, parents, children etc.


15. What information do you need from me before the wedding day?

We will ask you all relevant information like names, addresses, date and venue to go onto the contract when you contact us to book. Timings of the day will be asked near your wedding date so we are aware of a rough time scale to help us photograph your day. You will also be asked if there is any must have photo's too so we have all the information before your big day.


16. Do I have printing rights to photographs?

Yes of course, you have permission to make copies of the images for personal use by the bride, groom and families. Selling, Publication or any Commercial use of the photographs is not allowed without prior written permission.
